| Barry, Prune them back by 1/2 in late winter. Then after the first bloom flush fades shear them back a little to remove the spent blooms and encourage more growth and blooms. You can repeat this once or twice more during the growing season. It may help to provide a little fertilizer and then water it in well following each shearing. Thanks for the question.
