Hi, my fescue grass gets fungus every year. I've put down fungucide but in about 2 weeks you can see the fungus spreading again. I've cut back on the water, nothing seems to help. The professional gardeners that do my neighbor's homes doesn't seem to have the problem or they seem to be able to stop it immediately. What am I doing wrong?

Soil pH, drainage and excessive nitrogen can all contribute to ongoing fungal diseases. You might try Scott's Lawn Fungus Control. The label recommends using double the standard application amount for the first application, with subsequent applications at normal amounts to prevent fungal diseases. Be sure to apply according to label directions at the amounts and with the frequency recommended.
