To deadhead or not? - Knowledgebase Question

I have several clematis vines in my garden. After they bloom, should I remove the curly pods that are left behind? I have been leaving them because they offer such an unusual sight.

Suzanne,

You can leave them if you like the look of them or remove them if you don't. The plants don't really care.
