You can make decent money growing plants that are less common. They key is to find out what is needed in your area that is not currently being produced. Ask around with some specialty retail garden centers and some high end landscapers. Also speak to your County Extension Office about any classes in the area or connected with the University of Georgia Extension that might be helpful to you.
