I have a hugh poinseitta plant that i am told should be pruned in august. How much do i prune off and how far down do i go. It is green and bushy?

Jose,

You can prune it some now if you like but that is up to you. I wouldn't wait much longer though as it needs time to regrow and then be able to develop color before the holidays. In my opionion it is getting close to being too late to do such pruning.
