The Q&A Archives: Whitish bug on Jatroha plant

Question: Can you please give me an idea how to treat a whitish type insect that has appeard on the underside of the leaves and the stems of my Jatropha plant?

Thank you.

Answer: Carolyn,

I am not sure which insect you have as it could be a mealybug, aphid, scale or whitefly. As a good low toxicity general approach I suggest you try neem oil and direct the sprays upward from underneath the plant's foliage to get complete coverage of the insects.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
