Whitish bug on Jatroha plant - Knowledgebase Question

Can you please give me an idea how to treat a whitish type insect that has appeard on the underside of the leaves and the stems of my Jatropha plant?

Carolyn,

I am not sure which insect you have as it could be a mealybug, aphid, scale or whitefly. As a good low toxicity general approach I suggest you try neem oil and direct the sprays upward from underneath the plant's foliage to get complete coverage of the insects.
