does vitamin B help plants to get a good start when you first plant it

University studies show that auxins, not Vitamin B-1, help stimulate new root growth. So, contrary to popular belief, Vitamin B will not affect the establishment of a plant. If you want to get your plants off to a good start, begin with healthy soil and water regularly.
