fruitless mulberry has dropped its leaves - Knowledgebase Question

we have a fruitless mulberry that we have never had problems with untill this year,TOO much rain. the tree is loosing its leaves. has it gotten too much water and will it recouperate now that the rain has stopped?

Denise,

Your tree is probably dropping leaves due either to some past soggy soil conditions or more likely due to fungal leaf spots. The tree will likely releaf and be fine. Your excessive and lengthy periods of rainfall have brought on a host of foliage diseases on area trees.
