I recently purchased a tropical hibiscus. Because we go away for a couple of months in the winter I was thinking about getting a self watering pot. I read somewhere that tropical hibiscus should not be transplanted this time of year. When we are away we keep our thermostat at 65 degrees. Will this be too cold for a tropical hibiscus. Thank you |
Cool room temperature of 65 should be fine for your tropical hibiscus during the winter as long as it has bright light and good air circulation and reasonably high humidity as well. Although this is not the ideal time to transplant, you could probably still do it successfully now. Good luck with your hibiscus! |
