| To some extent the results you get will depend on the type of grass you plant and the growing conditions where the lawn is located. But the results also depend on the care you do give it -- and what your expectations are. I would suggest you begin by running some basic soil tests and consulting with the local county cooperative extension where your lake home is located to determine what the best choices would be and to develop a maintenance plan for it.
