Bottom Rot on Zinnias - Knowledgebase Question

My beautiful zinnias .... the bottom few leaves on each stem have two or more dried out leaves.
What's happening?

Zinnias can develop a fungal disease called powdery mildew. It begins on the lower leaves and progresses up the plant. I don't know if that's what is happening to your plants, but if so, you'll want to remove the lower leaves to keep the disease in check. It shouldn't affect the flowers, though, so enjoy your zinnias for the rest of the season.
