Some of the pots of strawberries I have (everbearing) have a greenish mold on the top soil
in the pot. Should I dig this soil out? The plants have lots of flowers and small berries and are otherwise doing well. They are in full direct sun all day long.

Thanks

I don't think the algae bloom on the top of the soil will affect your strawberry plants. Algae grows in the presence of moisture and sunlight and is quite common this time of year. You don't need to dig the soil or scrape the algae away. It will die off on its own.
