At my local Home Depot, 1524, I saw Passion Flower vines. They are not perennials here, but I am tempted to grow them in a pot in a south facing window and trellis them inside. What do you think??? Sandy [email protected] |
This might work out. Passionflowers in general need a minimum temperature of 50 degrees to stay in bloom year round, and you can stake it or trellis it or train it on a wire hoop. Also, although you did not include your location in your question, I should mention that some passionflower vines are surprisingly winter hardy. Passiflora incarnata is hardy to USDA zone 6, dying back to the ground each winter. Enjoy your new plant! |
