I have beautiful spider lilies that as you know are bushy in the spring and die back and shoot up with a pink flower in August. They look kinda bare at the base..any suggestions on perennials that could be planted without disturbing the lilies?

One of my favorites is the electric blue flowered Ceratostigma plumbaginoides as a low groundcover around them. Or, a silvery artemesia might look magical when the pink lilies bloom. Another interesting combination I have seen is sedums such as "Neon". Or, you could use an earlier blooming daylily with the lilies in between. I hope this gives you some ideas.
