I have white spots on the leaves and trunk. Might be mites. What do I use on it. Also have brown spots.What is causing this problem

You didn't identify the plant so I'm not sure I can provide much information in the way of control. White powdery substance could be a fungal disease called powdery mildew; white spots on leaves could indicate scale or mealybugs; brown spots could be insect or fungal disease.
