When is the best time to start planting mums? Do they require direct sunlight? Should they be planted in the containers?

Late summer and early fall are the best times to plant mums. In fact, whenever they are available in the nursery is the time to plant in your area. They should be removed from the nursery pots and planting directly in the soil, in a sunny location. Enjoy!
