If the leaves are drying up and falling off, it is almost certainly lack of water. Citrus trees need moist soil so plan on deeply watering your tree once or twice a week. Make a watering basin beneath the tree; fill it, allow to drain, then fill it a second time. Do this every week (twice a week if the weather is hot). This will allow the water to trickle down and wet the entire root mass. You should see some improvement soon. Best wishes with yur orange tree!
