We moved into an existing house (in May)with lots of Mexican Sage in Yard. Why doesn't it bloom. It is not attractive without flowers.

What season Mexican sage or Salvia leucantha will bloom depends on what geographic area you live in. In some areas it blooms from late summer through fall, or in other areas it will bloom beginning a bit sooner until it is cut back in late fall. Depending on where you live, it may not bloom for a little while yet.
