I bought two trees from homedepot at the beginning of summer. Durining June and July it rained almost every day. During that time they looked fine. Now the leaves are beginning to turn brown and die. What should I do to save these trees? (burr oak & non fruit pear tree.)

There's not much you can do about the rain and the soggy soils so you may just have to wait and hope the roots of your trees survive. When soils are too wet they deplete the oxygen and roots can suffocate. Let's hope your trees will be okay!
