Answer: It sounds as though the areas in question are overheating because of the lights. If you can raise the lights so they are not so close to the grass, it might help. Redirecting the light so it shines more upwards and not directly on the lawn will probably help, too. Or, if you can move the lights every day or two so they are not in exactly the same place night after night, that might also save your lawn. Wish I had more ideas!
