Michal,

Fruit trees for your area include apples, pears, persimmons, plums and peaches. Your County Extension Office has free info on growing each of these species. Their contact info is:
10056 Marsh Ln, Ste B-101, Dallas, TX 75229-6071
Phone: 214-904-3050

The rosebush needs full sun or close to it. It likes to grow in a soil with some compost mixed in that is kept moderately moist but that drains well so raised planting areas may be needed. Fertilize every 6 weeks during the growing season to keep it vigorous and productive.
