I have several Kong(TM) Red Coleus plants potted in containers on my deck and most of the leaves have holes in them. I don't see any insects on the leaves. What is causing this problem?

Coleus might be bothered by slugs or snails making holes in the leaves. These are nocturnal so you might not see them, but slugs do leave a silvery trail behind. They can be handpicked in the evening and dropped into soapy water, or you can bait them using a slug bait containing iron phosphate such as Sluggo. I hope this helps!
