when is the best time of year in the pacific NW to transplant a hydrangea? Thank you

If you can wait until after the flowers are spent, the move will be less stressful for your hydrangea. September and October are two of the best months to transplant trees and shrubs because temperatures are generally cool and rainfall abundant - both of which will help the roots become quickly established in their new homes.
