You didn't identify the shrubs or tell us how far away from the foundation you planted them. If they are in full sunshine, the foundation may be radiating excessive heat, which could also affect their health. At this point, I can only suggest you water your new shrubs once each week (water deeply to promote deep rooting), and check the shrubs in the mid-afternoon to make sure they are not baking due to reflected heat. If the area is extremely hot, you may want to move the plants to a friendlier location.
