Is there a plant or vine that climbs and can live in mostly shade?

Because of the lack of direct sunshine your choices are limited, but Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star Jasmine) and Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper) will work in a mostly shady area. Star Jasmine will bloom most reliably and is evergreen. Virginia Creeper is deciduous. Best wishes with your new vine!
