| Can you suggest a good plant to use for blocking a window? The window is on the east side of my house and about 3-4 feet from the ground. I would like to plant a tree, bush or shrub that will not take up excess room, but will give us a little privacy. I want something that will stay green in the winter. I live in zone 6A in a highly wooded area. I have heard mountain laurel, huckleberry, and azalea might work but these seem way too big or not high enough. Thanks ahead. |
| You might like one of the smaller maturing cultivars of Pieris japonica. This is a spring flowering broad leafed evergreen with good winter hardiness. |
