Can you get the berries from the forsythia and Plant them

I've heard rumors that you can plant the seeds of forsythia, but I don't have personal experience with the process, nor can I find any documented cases. So, you can try, but you may not have success. If you're willing to try, sow the seeds twice as deep as they are wide in moistened potting soil. Keep the soil moist at all times. With any luck, new little forsythia plants will sprout.
