(1) Can I keep geraniums inside this winter and will they survive? (2) Due to foot surgery, I couldn't get the hostas planted in the spring and now too dry and hot. Can I plant them in the Fall and will they survive? Thank you. |
You can keep geraniums in a sunny windowsill over the winter months and then plant them out in the garden when the weather warms in the spring. You can plant your hostas this fall. Expect the leaves to die off with the first frost. In the spring, when the soil warms, new foliage will emerge from the roots of the plants. Best wishes with your garden. |
