sunflowers - Knowledgebase Question

I planted sunflower seeds in a pot. Tat night and the next day, it rained a lot!! Shoouild I dig them up and dry them out or will they be okay? The temp. has been in the high 90's.

Once seeds have become moist and begin to grow, they will die if you dry them out. On the other hand, they can rot if kept too wet. If your pot has a drainage hole for the excess water to escape through and if you used a good quality, free draining potting mix formulated for container plants, then I think they should be okay.
