how can you keep your lavender from burning in the hot sun they are new and i want to make sure i am gone succesed |
Lucille, There is not a lot to do for them. They are fairly heat and sun tolerant so the big issue with lavender in the south is not overwatering them. Soggy conditions will kill them in a heartbeat! Drought too is not good but lavender is much less tolerant of poor drainage that a very brief dry spell. Some types of lavender can be grown in the south and some types are just not going to make it. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
