I want to plant a few Hostas in my back yard, on both sides to help divide my yard with my neighbors. When is a good time to plant them? I was told they make alot, so how many would you suggest I plant first, as a yard divider? thank you, Regina |
Hosta's do spread after they have been in place for a few years so take that into consideration when you plant. I'd start by planting them about 12" apart. As they grow you can dig and divide or you can simply remove every other one. Either spring or fall are good times to plant in your area. |
