sod and weeds - Knowledgebase Question

My yard is a mixture of sod (Bermuda?) and weeds. How can I get rid of the weeds and encourage new grass growth without replacing the whole lawn and when is the best time to do this?

Carol,

The way to control those weeds depends on which weeds you have. It is impossible to generalize since the weeds may be grassy, broadleaf or sedges. They may be annuals or perennials, and cool season or warm season. I suggest you check out the following web sites for more info:
