Welive in Zone 5B. I want to plant a peach tree. What are the best months for planting this kind of fruit tree.
Also, I have a ponderosa pine that I want to move to another location. What time of year is best to move this pine tree to a different spot in the yard?

September is a good time to plant and to transplant trees. This is when temperatures are cool, but before snow falls. Planting in September will give the tree roots a chance to become established before the weather gets really cold.

Best wishes with your landscape!
