We bought some Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac plants. Can they be planted in a mostly shade, semi moist area?

Tiger Eyes sumac will grow in full to part sun, in well drained soils. It will need a few hours of sun each day to thrive so a mostly shady site probably won't suit it. Hope you can find at least a half day of sun for this plant!
