| I enjoy growing a lot of vines- mandevilla, passion plants, morning glory, etc. I would like to make my own trellis' and like the aged look of copper pipe. Would the use of copper be harmful to my plants? |
| Copper may very well inhibit the growth of the vines. Have you considered coating the copper with a sealer? There are many non-glossy varnish-like sealers that you can apply to the copper before training your vines to grow on and around them. |
