I want to plant colorful flowers once and have them come up every year. What are some good choices. |
There are many perennials that would do well in your area. Some easy perennials to start with (in a sunny location) might include daffodil and crocus bulbs for spring flowers, along with Iris sibirica (Siberian iris), assorted early, mid, and late season Hemerocallis (daylily), threadleaf Coreopsis "Moonbeam", Achillea (yarrow), Nepeta "Walker's Low", and Phlox "David" for summer. For fall flowers, add some asters and sedums. Enjoy! |
