I planted hydrangeas in pots the beginning of summer. The plant has lots of leaves but its not flowering. Why is that?

Blanca,

Lack of blooms is usually due to the plant being in too dense of a shade. They don't want sun for sure, but need a fairly bright shade to do their best. You might want to fertilize the plants a little with a product for acid loving plants such as Miracid next summer. It is getting a little late to be feeding them very much now. Take care to keep the soil moist so the plants don't stress from drought conditions.
