The Q&A Archives: Heliotrope

Question: Can I grow Heliotrope in containers in my zone?

Answer: Heliotrope are tender plants, so you should either treat them as annuals, or plan to move the containers to a protected spot during the winter. If you have a covered porch or patio, move the containers under cover before the first frost of the season, and move them back out to the garden after the last frost in the spring.
