Brugmansia (Angel's Trumpet) is an evergreen shrub that likes sun or shade, and can be trained into a tree. Prune in early spring, cutting branches back to two buds. This will encourage abundant growth and masses of blossoms. It will bare single or double trumpets, eight inches long, and extremely fragrant, in summer and fall. The shrub is a vigorous grower, sometimes putting on 6 feet, or more, of growth each season. It's a spectacular plant for a large garden.
