The Q&A Archives: green bushes?

Question: What type of bush or plant stays green all year long? I have Lantanas in my front yard but and they get full and beautiful in the summer but then winter comes and they die leaving nothing and I want to plant something between the Lantanas to make the yard look nice in the winter months.

Answer: Gloria,

There are quite a few different plants that stay green all year long. Space since you are looking for something to plant between the Lantana as I suspect it should be quite short. Some plants to consider include pink skullcap, dwarf agave, damianita, or dwarf germander.
