There are dwarf varieties of many perennials, so be sure to check those out at the garden center. You might also consider Alchemilla mollis, Allium senescens ssp. montanum, Armeria maritima, Coreopsis verticillata ?Zagreb?, Dianthus cultivars, Fragaria vesca ?Alexandria?, Geranium macrorrhizum, Geranium sanguineum, Geum cultivars, Heuchera cultivars, Inula ensifolia, Iris sibirica ?Precious Doll?,
Origanum vulgare ?Aureum?, Persicaria affinis ?Dimnity?, Phlox subulata,
Potentilla tridentata, Sedum ?Bertram Anderson?, Sedum reflexum ?Angelina?,
Sedum ?Vera Jameson?, Stachys byzantina and Thymus vulgaris ?Aureus?.
