| I had severe insect damage on my lawn and with professional treatment, it is now on the mend. My lawn consists of St. Augustine Grass. I am trying to fill in the brown areas caused by the insect damage. I read that Kentucky Bluegrass Seed is good but I don't know how that will mesh with the St. Augustine grass I have. I'd greatly appreciate any tips since I'm a novice at this. Thank-You. |
| Candy, I would not suggest you use the Kentucky bluegrass there in Florida. It will not survive well at all and looks very different from the St. Augustine you already have. Continued to feed and water the St. Augustine to encourage it to fill in the bare areas. You may also want to cut some plugs from denser areas to set him to the bare areas to speed up how fast the grass completely covers the area. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
