I planted three dwraf fruit trees. On one tree the leaves are curling inward. I put tree soil around the base thinking it would get any nutrients missing. What am I missing? Thank you |
Both heat and water stress can cause curling of the leaves this late in the season. Wait until the leaves fall, then rake them up and remove them from the garden. Water your trees deeply once each week and next spring you can feed them to promote healthy new growth. Your apple trees will need about one inch of water per week, applied slowly so it can trickle down and wet the entire rootmass. Enjoy your trees! |
