when should i start fertalizing my lawn for the fall and winter, lawn started getting fuller, next year i want it to be alot thicker,can you help with products to use

You can fertilize your lawn in late September or early October and then again in April and June. The fall application should have a low nitrogen content, the April and June applications should be high in nitrogen. Scott's fertilizers are generally on sale at your local Home Depot in the right formulation and when it's the right time to apply in your gardening region so check the newspaper ads or visit your store for the best price on fertilizer.
