Can I get my mums too bloom by covering them up for several days in the morning and uncovering them in the evening. Please let me know if this is true and if so the proper way too do this. thank you. |
Chrysanthemums will develop flower buds only if they are subjected to short days, generally ten hours of daylight and fourteen hours of continuous darkness. While you might be able to cover them each night, it might be simpler to just allow them to form flower buds on their own in the naturally short days of autumn. |
