IM ABOUT TO OVERSEED MY LAWN,USING A STARTER FERTILIZER.
SHOULD I COVER THE SEED WITH COMPOST OR SOMETHING?

If you are overseeding your lawn rather than broadcasting seed on bare soil, you won't need to cover the seeds. Water well after seeding and the seeds should drop down to soil level where they can root readily.
