The Q&A Archives: planting

Question: what type of plant can I plant now in the ground that will still bloom?

Answer: Liz,

You can plant marigolds, petunias, and dwarf zinnias now, but they will die at the first frost sometime in November. At that point I suggest planting ayatollahs, pansies, ornamental kale and ornamental cabbage.
