Your Black Tartanian cherry will need a second sweet cherry tree for cross pollination. You can use Bing or Royal Ann. If you don't have room in your landscape for two full sized cherry trees, you might consider growing a semi-dwarf Bing or Royal Ann.

Best wishes with your cherry trees.
