I have some mushrooms growing in my plant and it is dying. It is a Eugenia Topiary (Syzygium Paniculatum). What do I need to do? Can it be salvaged? |
The mushrooms are growing because of decaying organic matter. They could be feeding on potting soil, or on rotting roots (due to overly wet soil). If the health of the plant is declining, I would unpot it (or dig it up) and inspect the roots. Remove any roots that are mushy or dead and repot the plant in fresh soil. Best wishes with your plant! |
