why has my columnea not bloomed and why is it dropping leaves...I have it in indirect sun
I do not overwater...I do fertilize twice a month are they hard to grow indoors...it has very bright light in the room it is growing in

Gail,

Columnea preferred in direct light and moist but not soggy growing conditions. And they are not difficult to grow indoors but do not like very dry hot vents blowing on them and winter or very cold drafts either. It sounds like you're growing conditions are just for that plant.
